We're Going to Harvard!

I was watching video of "The View" posted here on Little Green Footballs, and cracked up at Rosie O'Donnell's ranting about getting a physics expert on the show to explain how WTC7 could not have collapsed without explosives.

Rosie: We are going to Harvard, we are going to Yale, and we are going to ask someone from physics to explain...

One of the other women, who not being a fan of the show, I cannot identify, interrupts, "Wait a second Bush went to Yale!", apparently indicating that he has tainted his alma mater.

To which the crowd cheers and Rosie answers, "We're going to Harvard!"

Hey geniuses, let me introduce you to George W. Bush, MBA, Harvard Business School, 1975

Update: To avoid potential confusion, this is also the same video Pat posted below.

If she does, I really hope she gets slammed and not taken seriously for that "It's physically impossible for fire to melt steel" comment.

I live about a mile and a half from Harvard - All I need is a day and time and a tshirt that says "I'm in the physics dept, ask me about 9/11 denial"

I would be absolutely shocked if she managed to find anyone in the Physics department at Yale or Harvard to endorse her nonsense. Those schools tend not to hire idiots. Maybe for an encore she can talk to the MIT engineering department.

Wow, a neutrino weapon! Finally something that can shoot through everything without damaging or interacting with it in anyway!

Seeing Rosie go to Harvard and ask whether WTC7 was brought down by magic steel-melting explosives that can be rigged up in a couple of hours would be the most deliciously cringey television since the original series of The Office.

That "Bush went to Yale!" comment is absolutely bizarre, as if that completely discredits the entire faculty, now and forever. It really is as if they loathe Bush so much it's corroded every logical faculty they may have once had - which makes them prime pickings for the 9/11 Deniers.

I'd love to see Rosie sit down and have a nice chat with John Conner. I think her ardour for the twoof movement might cool a bit after that.

Harvard mba, yale undergrad, Clinton is also Yale law, as his wife, Kerry is also Yale, they were frat brothers at Skull and Bones-which proves nothing.

But this is also the home of much mush of the work on global warming.

On Rosie's challenge for any expert from Harvard or Yale to come on "The View" and and refute her theories on the properties of fire (heat) and structural steel. It won't happen. I'm sure the producers know that anyone with such expertise would just make her look like an idiot.

Some facts
Steel melting point aprox. 1500+ deg Celsius
Burning Jet Fuel- aprox 800+ deg. Celsius
At 650+ deg Celsius Structural steel loses at least half of it's structural integrity. It can bend and twist. It doesn't have to "melt" to fail.
