Another Brilliant Experimenter

This guy might give Spooked 9-11 a run for his money.

Methodology: A concrete landing block was placed at the bottom of a balcony at a condominium complex. Another concrete block would be dropped on top of it, from a distance of 50 feet, or 15.24 meters. The fall was recorded on video for the scientific community to review.

Safety Precautions: For anyone who replicates this experiment, be sure to remember "safety first before science." An orange safety cone was placed on the side walk to warn possible pedestrians. A watchman was posted to make sure no one walked in the way during the experiment, especially the Condo Manager or Security. A concrete block was dropped from the 5th floor balcony and the results were photographed.

Our researcher was "Professor Rick Shaddock". Unfortunately, when I googled that term in quotes, the experiment page was the only result. However, Googling Professor "Rick Shaddock" came out with significantly more results. Let's see how many typical Troofer traits we can find with Mr. Shaddock.

Third party candidate? Check; Rick ran for Congress in the 1990s on the Natural Law Party line.

(Not knocking TM, by the way, just as it is no knock against Buddhism that Kevin Ryan is a Buddhist. Just pointing out that these people have a tendency to go way off the beaten path.)

Creative facial hair? This one comes back negative:

He has a whole page dedicated to other "experiments". Remember the stackable office tray guy?

Or the snowman WTC?

Rick Shaddock, prevaricator for 9/11 troof, makes a mockery of the scientific method and says, "...Pyroclastic clouds of concrete dust."

The bat-shit crazy idea that there was "Pyroclastic flow" at ground zero is BS.

You'll find not one person who was cooked alive at ground zero.

According to Wikipedia, "...The gas is usually at a temperature of 100-800 degrees Celsius (100 degrees C is the boiling point of water). The flows normally hug the ground and travel downhill under gravity, their speed depending upon the gradient of the slope and the size of the flow."

So, for example, why wasn't William Rodriguez, your so-called eyewitness, cooked like a poached fish if there were "Pyroclastic flows" at ground zero? Why were trees left green next to the towers? Why did paper and other debris hit the ground without being burned?

The David Grisman Quintet plays "Dawgmatism".

Please don't tell me you're trying to say the troofers honestly attempted to prove the WTC couldn't collapse the way it did, using a model made out of SNOW. Now that's pretty ridiculous even for... well maybe not, actually.

I hereby announce my experiemnt to simulate the world trade center collapse using LEGOs. I'll need several thousand in funding to buy the pieces I need from pick a brick on the LEGO website.

"The concrete fell 5 floors, at 10 feet per floor, for a distance of 50 feet, or 15.24 meters. The rate of fall was approximately 32 feet per second per second, or 9.8 meters per second squared. The duration of the fall was timed at about 2.1 seconds. At impact, the concrete slab was traveling at a rate of 64 feet per second, or 43.64 miles per hour, or 70.23 kilometers per hour.

Unfortunately, the Condo Manager heard a loud cracking noise, came out, and demanded the samples be removed immediately from the site of the experiment. So there was no time to weigh and measure the resulting pieces. But from the brief analysis, there were large pieces, and only a small amount of concrete dust."

Dam Condo Managers, always getting in the way of scientific progress.

Those two items are related. The Natural Law Party is (or was, it's pretty much inactive) the political extension of the TM movement.

Basically, TMers believe that if everyone practiced TM, most societal problems would take care of themselves because everyone would be adhering to natural law.

The Natural Law Party was a way to put Americans who believe those principles into office. It worked about as well as most American third parties do.

Oh, I get it now.

Glenn is misrepresenting his source again.

So what's new?

Source: Harvard School of Journalism, Nieman Reports: Images of a Shattered City--"...you can feel the energy and the horror and a sense of history washing over you at once." by Stan Grossfeld.

It's no wonder that you only gave us the URL to the photo, because the photo's caption reads
--and I quote: "...Burnt cars from the World Trade Center explosion in Lower Manhattan."

The only shocking revelation, in this instance, Glenn, is your boundless intellectual dishonesty (well, to anyone familiar with Glennis the Menace [like me], it's not shocking at all).

No doubt, Glenn, you'd lie to your mother if you thought you could gain some advantage from the lie--you lying, underhanded piece-of-shit.

Again, don't you think that an apology is order, Glenn the underhanded scumbag?

Gotta be parody.

Check out the 'Home Depot' link, where they search for nano-thermite.

"Nano-what? I'm not sure, sir.
If we do it is over in the Garden Center."

Er, hang on, I just went to some other links, and now I'm not sure.

Er...um...er...ahh....um...

Damn those wily truthers, they sure know how to confuse a man!

I have been wrong about this before but I think it must be a spoof!

Did you read the letter to Congressmen?

We have been seen that the concrete from the World Trade Center pulverized in to dust. We have been told that explosives were not involved. We can see the drawbacks of the official conspiracy theory of the 9/11 Commission that does not hold up to scrutiny, or simple experiments that anyone can do at home.

And...

Exploded and unexploded nano-thermitic material has been identified with a microscope and chemical analyzers in a laboratory by Dr. Niels Harrit of the Univesity of Copenhagen, and Dr. Steven Jones, Professor Emeritus of BYU. The study was published in the Benthem Chemistry and Physics Journal. www.NielsHarrit.org

But...

It is time for an end to the mistruths about what happened on 9/11, which changed our country in so many ways. please join with other Congressmen in demanding a new investigation of what happened on 9/11/2001.

We need the truth to stand on concrete ground for the future.

And then it is signed by...

Dennis Kucinich
Jasen Chaffetz
Cliff Steranes
Maurice Hinchey
Ed Markey
Robert Wexler

Are they all confirmed Truthers?

angrysoba wrote, "...Are they all confirmed Truthers?"

Now the troofers claim that Dennis Kucinich, Jasen Chaffetz, Cliff Steranes, Maurice Hinchey, Ed Markey and Robert Wexler are member of the 9/11 troof movement?

That document is pure libel--a fraud.

The troofers who produced that "letter" should be sued for defamation.

Arsehoolie the dishonest whines, "...Transcendental meditation is a religion?"

As a matter of fact it is, fuckhead.

Read on...

Wikipedia says the following about TM: "...According to religious scholar Kenneth Boa in his book, Cults, World Religions and the Occult, Transcendental Meditation is rooted in the Vedantic School of Hinduism, and that fact is "repeatedly confirmed" by the Maharishi's books such as the Science of Being and the Art of Living and his Commentary on the Bhagavad Gita."

Source: Wikipedia: Transcendental Meditation--Origins.

Do have anything of relevance to contribute to ANY thread, Arsehoolie?

Obviously, not.

So why don't you do us a favor, sociopath, and slit your wrists, it'll lower your blood pressure--you double-digit IQ conspiracy theorist knob-gobbler.

Angrysoba, I'm sure that some of those congressmen at one point or another have made the mistake of agreeing with a truther that more investigation of 9-11 would be a good thing. Chaffetz, for example, made that blunder in February of this year and then had to backtrack. Kucinich promised some Troofers that he'd look into the put options thing, and I suspect you'd find something similar with the rest of the list.

Arsehoolie the cyber prevaricator scribbles, "...So,it's a discipline connected to an ancient religion, therefore it's a religion!"

Nice straw man argument, fool.

Read it again, numskull:
